Emmalee

So it has been confirmed it is Cancer. They started Chemotherapy on her tonight. She will be in the hospital three days and then go home for three weeks. This will be repeated four times. She is in stage three of liver cancer. Which is neither good or bad. It is good because that means it has not spread to her other parts of her body. It is bad because the chances are survival are not good. Most people even in stage one don't survive. I hope I have this information right. She is a trooper and miracles happen. PLEASE PRAY FOR MY LITTLE COUSIN EMMALEE. This is such a sad thing for my family to see our little cousin with cancer. My grandma made a sad comment today. She said "she would rather have the cancer than let her little grandchild go through this"
I have to tell you some cute stories my grandmother told me today. My grandparents gave my uncle and aunt a break to they could go home and hear my cousin speak at a fireside. She said before she threw up she asked my grandmother kindly for the pink bucket. Meaning the throw up bucket. My grandma says she hardly ever complains even if she's in extreme pain. Also when my cousin was eating my grandma glanced over and noticed she was blessing her food. What a cutie she is?
One of the girls I nanny is in her school class. Her name is Addie Today was the first time I saw her since Emmalee has been in the hospital. She was sad because Emmalee ate lunch with her and played with her at recess. Addie kept asking me questions about what cancer was. Its hard to explain to an eight year what cancer is and what tumors are? Well there is an update for now. For now we pray the chemo works.
