Miss Independant!

I went and talk to my advisor today about classes. I got all my classes figured out and more. If anyone knows me I am very independant for the most part. I like to figure things on my own. So needless to say thats how I was when it came to registering for classes. I didn't want anyone's help I just wanted to do myself. I am a big girl of course. So I gave in and went to my advisor. She's got me all on track to graduate. The reason that I couldn't register for certain classes is because they only offer them every other year. So if your off on your year then they will do other things instead of the class. I am now doing a directed readings class. Where I don't actually have a sceduled class, I just read stuff my professor gives me for that cours and talk to her every two to three weeks. How nice is that? much better than sitting through a class. So I learned my lesson I can't graduate without talking to my advisor. I now have learned to be more dependant for that one. I am a dork.
Also while talking to her she gave me great advice for my internship. I can do it in the summer but sign up for it the fall. This way I don't have to pay extra tuition. Plus I can pretty much pick my extra curricular classes just by talking to my advisor. My advisor is also one of my professors for next sememser. So I best get on her good side. Hopefully I already did by picking her department major.
